Started working on my menus. All the png file graphics came from a paid asset pack, but all the actual layouts and coding were done by hand. I wanted to get the basic menu together, because I needed user inputs to be able to work on the level design. The entire (non-menu) game is in 1 room, but with different spawning sequences depending on player choices and which level they selected. So to build that, it made testing easier if I could provide actual user inputs. I decided to do a hard pivot and work on the menus. Normally, menus are one of the last things I work on in a project, but it just made sense this time.
